Every year, 1.5 million fractures attributable to osteoporosis occur in the U.S. [2,20-22] Of these, half are vertebral compression fractures (VCFs). [1]  Although compression fractures can have a disastrous impact on quality of life, the outlook for VCF treatment is bright.

Balloon kyphoplasty is a minimally invasive procedure that can reduce back pain, improve back function and quality of life, and restore vertebral body height and spinal alignment. [17,19,35]

Select from the menu on your left to learn more about VCFs and the treatment role of balloon kyphoplasty. You can obtain more information either by mail or by visiting our booth at upcoming conferences.
